Here’s another foray into my experience cowriting in Nashville. I was feeling the creative ennui after a series of lukewarm collaborations with songwriters who were trying to score the next big hit by imitating the last big hit. The sheen of music city USA was fading and I had found myself in a creative ghetto of wannabees and fame hungry desperados. Harsh I know, but this is show business baby, we didn’t get into it for the ‘healthy and cooperative working environment’.
