Harry Hook is an ARIA-nominated performer and songwriter who has toured around Australia, Europe and the USA. He currently works on Gunaikurnai land in Sale (Wayput / Flooding Creek). He studied as a lawyer but found the lure of folk music's big bucks all too attractive. In 2014, he won the International Songwriting Competition and released a solo album with Warner Music. He has played in session bands alongside the likes of Paul Kelly, Kasey Chambers, Bernard Fanning, and has supported The Eagles, Lucinda Williams, and Busby Marou to name a few. In 2018, he moved back to Gippsland from Nashville to begin work on a new solo project. He also performs as part of local band Desert Alien with Small Town Alien and Jesse Kidd. He released his latest self-produced album in 2020 no snake in the tree available wherever you stream your music. 2023 will see the release of his next album, produced by Greg Walker (Paul Kelly, CW Stoneking).
